in the NC General Assembly for an additional source
of revenue for WCPSS and other high growth public
school systems, e.g. a transfer tax or a menu of options
including same.
Form
a statewide coalition that supports our mission.
Advocate
for more effective and accountable governance of public
schools in NC.
Advocate
for additional funds for WCPSS from the Board of Wake
County Commissioners.
Continue
to educate the public with nonpartisan, factual information
about the state of public education in Wake and NC.
Ensure
that the public understands the intricacies of proposed
public private partnerships.
