Raleigh-Cary metro continues to grow

The Raleigh-Cary area continues to grow, making the region the 47th largest in the nation. In March 2010, U.S. Census population figures ranked the Raleigh-Cary area as the 49th largest in the nation, but a population report released on August 4, 2010 has repositioned the region a full two spots ahead in only five months time.
